This unique hike in Nepal involves camping, visiting rural villages, and historical places such as; the old palace ruins of the ancient kings of Nepal. Suitable for families, young and old the Dhading Cultural hike can be done almost the whole year round, except during the monsoon season (June to August).
Filled with green valleys overlooking the snow-white Himalayan ranges Dhading is one of the most special areas within Nepal. Home to a mix of ethnic groups varying between Tamang, Brahmin, and Chettri you’ll find lots of hospitality here! The Dhading Cultural hike offers a unique camping experience while visiting 2 historical sites in the villages of Maidi and Jyamrung. A large part of the hike follows the beautiful Budhi Gandaki River and heads through jungle trails amongst the hills of Dhading.
